Well the drive back from San Antonio sucked because people do not appear to know how to drive as part of a collective group.
Got to meet Harry Turtledove and his wife and they appeared to be very nice people. Harry Turtledove is considered the Master of Alternate History Novels and I got to see him speak at a symposium on the subject of alternate history writing. Dr. Turtledove inspired me to write because I saw some glaring errors in his work that made me think I could write as well. These errors are only noticeable to someone that is a military history expert like myself.
Back to somewhat normal life, my job is unique because I am a subject matter expert in a few fields and get tasked to teach on these subjects.
Pilgrim’s Trail is moving into its final edit, soon I will be having proofs printed for beta readers. Thanks to those that have offered to read this and help me out!
Going to start submitting short stories to Analog and Asimov among others one to make money and two to get my name out! Marketing, marketing, marketing!
Gave away about 40 copies of the first print of Capitulation but as it went thru a rewrite hopefully they like it and they will look for other works!
Hope everyone had a great weekend I know mine was an eye opener and a great learning experience!
